No trace!

Of anything remotely interesting happening on EO lately! Old news: Board is back up, game is functioning. Less people now. Listening to Kid CuDi, Ratatat, and Miike Snow in heavy rotation. As for my life.... Got a mid-term this Friday that Im not worried about. Kicked ass on two essays last week; all A's baby.... Hmm, boy coming over in a little while so that should be interesting.... Went to the club Saturday, didn't have any fun really. People are stupid, especially in packs.... Friends got into a three-way girl fight, hair was ripped out, gross yet intertaining... Thats all for now.

For real, for real?

Im sure everyone has heard through the grapevine that the server is down and speculation is flying that Vult is finally shutting EO down for good because its becoming too much of a hassle, especially sense all that ugliness happened on the messageboard. Another theory, which I personally hope is true, is that the long awaited V.29 is coming out. I don't think that's what's going on because it would have been out on the test server first, however, for all we know there could have been a test, just not on the main or test server.

What seems logical to me is that the messageboard investigation has lead to an even more in depth investigation of the game itself or maybe Vult was asked to shut EO down until the investigation is done in order to prevent any further drama. Idk, I guess we just have to wait and see but I've got a bad feeling about this...

In other news, Rettan will be away from both EO and his blog for a couple of months while he goes off to be a flyboy,lol. Have a good time hun and be careful, planes are dangerous....

As for me, I havent started any new game, my fall semester classes and personal life are keeping me all tied up at the moment. Patrick Swayze died. Sadness. And Kanye West really has to stop picking white folks, lmao! That poor girl, I would have bitch-slapped that little diva for stealing my thunder.

Doing it for the thrill

So this is my blog and I'll write about whatever the fuck I want. Right now Im bumping some La Roux (Stellly loves electro) . Can't say I love the girl's style personally but I have respect for people who do their own thing and don't follow the masses. Love that pic though, those glasses ar badass.




So, I know Im late on this and everyone and their Mom has blogged about it but I'd like mention DJ AM. Not to focus on his death or the circumstances but my own appreciation of him as a DJ. I got to see him spin in Denver last summer at Skylab. He came on the main stage last, right after Bad Boy Bill and tore it the fuck up. It was about 2 AM and having been there since 9:30 I was getting a little tired but those lights lit up behind him and the crown went nuts. I had never heard him before so I didn't know what to expect but I was far from disappointed and ended up shaking my ass like a madwoman until he let us go around 4:15. What I remember about him was the look of absolute joy on his face while he looked out into the crowd and it was packed, wall to wall with people going crazy to the music. I have only seen a few other DJ's with that look on their face while they work, that look that lets you know that the gig they are at isn't just another paycheck, but an opportunity to share their love of music with everyone around them.

So here's to you, Adam Goldstein, a fellow audioslave. You are missed.

This Shit Sucks

So, I actually did re-join EO and this shit sucks! I haven't seen the headcount hit 600 in the three weeks since I came back. What the fuck??? I've looked at various blogs and asked around to figure out exactly what went wrong but there is no one answer. To be honest, this has been coming for quite some time, an un-moderated game is a setup for failure....I've never been one to straight up critisize Vult but the is ridiculous, plenty of people would be willing to help out mod-ing both the boards and the game itself but he doesn't seem to care.

I am not activly looking for a good private server or even a new game to play. Any suggestions?
